O'Neal-26
O’Neal were one of the true pioneers in MX clothing back in the day at the birth of the sport in the ‘60s. Born and raised in SoCal, Jim O’Neal was one of the original MX riders who took his hobby and channeled his passion and enthusiasm to make it his profession. His sons Jim Jr. and Keith discovered their passion for mountain biking in the ‘80s, just as the sport was establishing its roots on the west coast, as their Dad had done 20 years earlier.
At 64 Jim O’Neal still rides today, hitting the trails in SoCal almost everyday on his MX bike. He and his sons truely represent a unique and enduring passion for 2-wheel offroad sports spanning the last 40 years In Europe, O’NEA L-26 represents freeride, DH and enduro mountain biking. With O’Neal Team riders such as Cedric Gracia from Andorra, Lance McDermott from Manchester England and Andreu Lacondeguy from Spain, as well are countless grass-roots sponsored riders, O’Neal-26 understands what it takes to keep riders on top of their game and strive to contribute to the sport as it continues to progress.
In cooperation with the German protection specialist, O’Neal has developed cutting-edge and innovative protection foam, SC-1, through ground-breaking technology and progressive style. New O’Neal products with SC-1 protectors include the HELLRAISER protector jacket, the MAGNETIC protector vest and the SINNER knee guard. Fully compliant with EN 1621, the homologated SC-1 protectors have passed the highest testing standard possible (even in the motorcycle industry). This level is realised by only a few brands worldwide.
40 years on and O’NEAL is still pushing the boundaries of our sport and continuing to set new standards!
